BMW R-Series .Early 1952 with painted rims 1/2 drums, metal fork covers, unique air cleaner. correct .95 speedometer for correct 35:9 rear drive ratio. Headlight is correct as is horn, front fender hand shift lever, side car plug, cable and wire guides on fork. This is a good running use-able motorcycle as is. Shifts good, stops good, handles good. I bought it 35 years ago with a bad engine and installed a low mileage 1961 R50 engine, the original numbers matching engine housing is included. Handle bar controls are later BMW units. It needs a wiring harness. All sheet metal is excellent original; professionally painted and striped about 5 years ago. Fork, frame and wheels are original. Tail light and license plate bracket are the only reproduction parts on it. VIN 527566
